Open house of units for sale at Markham Gardens

The 25 Homes for Sale, which include one-bedroom apartments, have off-street parking for two cars and yards front and back. Prices are $345,000 but could be substantially less for qualified buyers who receive city and state subsidies to purchase the homes. They are part of the 290-unit Markham development, which replaced the former public housing complex, and includes brand-new rentals and for-sale homes in a public-private partnership of affordable housing. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed. I have seen it in Coney Island where they went into one of the worse housing complexes on Surf Avenue, told the people in there you have to get out this building isn't fit to live in. Fixed the building, and then turned them into condos and people with decent lives moved in. I hope this is a start for that part of West Brighton.
